If you're flying in, you have the convenient options of arriving at either Denver International Airport or Colorado Springs Airport. Driving Directions from Denver to the Surf Hotel

(drive time 2.25 hours)

Take US-285 S: Follow signs for US-285 S toward Fairplay. Stay on this road as it will take you through the beautiful Colorado countryside.

Pass through the town of Fairplay: Continue on US-285 S for about 85 miles. You'll pass through the charming town of Fairplay along the way.

Stay on US-285 S: After Fairplay, remain on US-285 S for another 35 miles. Enjoy the scenic views as you drive through the mountains.

Turn right onto Main Street: Once you reach Buena Vista, turn right onto Main Street.

Arrive at the Surf Hotel: Continue on Main Street, and you'll find the Surf Hotel on your left at 1012 Front Loop, Buena Vista, CO 81211.

Driving Directions from Denver International Airport (DIA) to the Surf Hotel

(drive time 2.5 hours)

Exit the Airport: Start by exiting Denver International Airport and follow the signs for Peña Boulevard.

Merge onto I-70 W: Take Peña Boulevard west and merge onto I-70 W toward Denver.

Take Exit 261 for US-6 W: After approximately 17 miles, take exit 261 to merge onto US-6 W toward 6th Avenue.

Merge onto CO-470 E: After about 4 miles on US-6 W, take the exit toward CO-470 E. Continue on CO-470 E for approximately 20 miles.

Take Exit 5A for US-285 S: Take the exit for US-285 S toward Fairplay. Continue on US-285 S for about 85 miles, passing through the town of Fairplay.

Stay on US-285 S: After Fairplay, remain on US-285 S for another 35 miles. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views as you drive.

Turn right onto Main Street: Once you reach Buena Vista, turn right onto Main Street.

Arrive at the Surf Hotel: Continue on Main Street, and you'll find the Surf Hotel on your left at 1012 Front Loop, Buena Vista, CO 81211.
